LaPresso is a company founded by Aake Salonen. Salonen is a coffee enthusiast and a well-known name in the field. He has, among other things, trained coffee enthusiasts, participated in coffee competitions, served as a judge at the Finnish Aeropress 2022 event, and collaborated with other industry players.
LaPresso was born in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. When access to cafes was restricted, the idea of an outdoor coffee stand— a coffee cart— emerged. The coffee cart helped create opportunities for social interaction during the pandemic, which has become one of our core values.
